This garden was designed around a farmhouse built in 1923. It has been allowed to grow organically with selfseeded trees, wild plants and flowers. There is a stream and a pond with goldfish and water lilies. The garden also features several raised beds and a lean-to greenhouse.

Open: 12 – 5 pm on 12 June & 10 July

Towards N16 from Sligo centre. At crossroads / traffic lights take R286 (Dromhair).After 500m turn left towards Calry. Continue approx. 1.5 km.The house with green wooden gates is on the left (before Calry Church). . Enter the garden by iron gate under laurel.

Two gardens overlooking Lough Arrow. Annaghcor Farm has a large garden made up of low maintenance shrub borders, vegetable garden and greenhouse, fruit beds, terrace with grass and perennial border and pots. Stroll through developing woodland areas to enjoy the views and to the large wildlife pond. From the pond walk through newlyplanted trees to Fuchsia Cottage garden with its Hugelkultur raised beds and no-dig garden. Walk around the Cottage to the flowerbeds and exposed limestone bedrock rockery with its natural birdbaths. Both gardens aim to encourage sustainability and biodiversity.

Open: 2pm - 5pm on 23rd June,21st July & 25th August N4 to Castlebaldwin roundabout, take exit to Highwood. Travel 0.5km and take first exit on right and farm entrance is through 2cream gate piers straight ahead.

The grounds surrounding Hazelwood House and Lough Gill Distillery are a mix of tillage fields, woodlands, recently restored lawns and gardens at present being developed. Adjacent to the Garavogue River, the grounds contain a good mix of herbaceous perennials, fruit, climbers, bulbs, shrubs and roses with a great range of mature trees often blended in with the planting. There are also a number of work sheds, a poly tunnel and glasshouse where many of the plants are grown on and propagated.

Open: 1.30 - 5.30pm on 16th August

From Sligo town, take the Dromahair road & follow signs for Hazelwood.
