Both the eco house and cottage garden are set within the organic farm, with the household striving for near self-sufficiency by growing their own fruits and vegetables. The garden features a pond, rose walk, rockery, orchard, herbaceous borders and woodland areas.

Nestled in the foothills of the Ox Mountains with panoramic views of Knocknarea and Benbulben, the garden, with photographs by Gerry Daly, is well illustrated in “The Irish Garden” magazine (2015) and described as “a great celebration of flowers and plants arranged in a most unusual but very interesting fashion”. This large garden has an eclectic mix of trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials.
