From Collooney take the N17 for Galway. After approx 3km turn left for Ballymote.  Keep straight, following signpost for Ballynaboll. After approx 1km, fork in the road. Keep right. 

After Approx 1km the entrance is on the left beside a derelict gate lodge on the left

Created in 2006 this small garden in the village of Collooney has a range of perennial plants, trees & shrubs. With views of the Ox Mountains this hidden gem exudes enthusiasm & creativity which has been extended to adjacent communal areas which are now planted with perennials and pollinator friendly plants.

Open: 1 – 4pm on 30 & 31 May

Leave N4 at the Sligo Junction / Collooney roundabout. Pass through Collooney village on the old Galway road. Ashbrook estate is on the left after the railway bridge.

Two gardens overlooking Lough Arrow.

Annaghcor Farm has a large garden made up of low maintenance shrub borders, vegetable garden and greenhouse, fruit beds, terrace with grass and perennial border and pots. Stroll through developing woodland areas to enjoy the views and to the large wildlife pond.

From the pond walk through native trees to Fuchsia Cottage garden with its Hugelkultur raised beds. Walk around the Cottage and enjoy the flowerbeds and exposed limestone bedrock rockery with  natural  birdbaths.

Both gardens aim to encourage sustainability and biodiversity.
