Recently created this is an Asian-inspired garden with hardy tropical plants. Winding paths lead to a stream & pond with features to encourage wildlife. Bamboos and exotic foliage add to the varied planting scheme.

Open: 2 -5 pm on 26 July, 16 August, 6 September.

Towards N16 from Sligo town, at crossroads/traffic lights take R286 (Dromahair). Turn onto R278 and continue up hill. House is 3rd house after B&B.

A half-acre coastal garden enclosed by native boundary hedges to provide shelter from the cold, salty winds. The space is subdivided into a number of areas and habitats including a circular herb garden, small woodland areas, perennial borders and lawns, a pergola for climbers, an enclosed patio garden as well as raised fruit and vegetable beds and a polytunnel. The garden is cultivated sustainably to encourage biodiversity.

Open: 2pm - 5pm on 22 June & 20 July.

Turn off N15 at Yeats Tavern onto L3305 for Lissadell House. Continue past Lissadell House for 1km, turn L for Raghley at Dunleavy's shop. Take first right, garden is 4th house on right.

Two gardens overlooking Lough Arrow.

Annaghcor Farm has a large garden made up of low maintenance shrub borders, vegetable garden and greenhouse, fruit beds, terrace with grass and perennial border and pots. Stroll through developing woodland areas to enjoy the views and to the large wildlife pond.

From the pond walk through native trees to Fuchsia Cottage garden with its Hugelkultur raised beds. Walk around the Cottage and enjoy the flowerbeds and exposed limestone bedrock rockery with natural birdbaths.

Both gardens aim to encourage sustainability and biodiversity.
