All visitors are asked to make a donation to each garden in lieu of an admission charge, with the proceeds going to the garden owner's chosen charity or charities. The charities supported are:

Secret Gardens of Sligo was established in 2010 and to date, we have raised €95,000 for the various charities chosen by our garden owners. We would like to thank all the visitors who have made this possible. We hope you will visit all our gardens this year, each one open for a worthy cause, and each a completely different experience: a personal journey through horticulture and design, plants and palettes, soil and situation – and all equally delightful.
